Russian regions with the highest and lowest pensions named
As of the beginning of 2026, Chukotka, the Nenets Okrug and Magadan Oblast lead in the average old-age insurance pension, while the lowest payments are in the republics of the North Caucasus. The Finance Ministry expects the average pension to grow by the end of 2027.
