Criminal case opened in Surkhandarya region over illegal hunting of a Red Book bear
During a raid in Samarkand, a Niva Legend vehicle was stopped; its trunk contained parts of a Tien Shan brown bear carcass and three wild boars, as well as five hunting rifles. Damage to wildlife was estimated at 679.8 million soums. A criminal case has been opened under Article 202 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
