Explained: Will a teacher who fails to score enough points in voluntary attestation have their category downgraded?
According to the regulation approved by Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan resolution No. 572 of September 17, 2021, teachers with the right to lifelong retention of their qualification category are not subject to mandatory attestation, but may participate in it voluntarily. If they fail to score enough points in an extraordinary attestation, their current category and salary are retained.
