Afghanistan completely bans fireworks at weddings and celebrations
On October 27, Afghanistan's Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue announced a complete ban on the use, production, import and sale of pyrotechnics across the country. Previously, only a nighttime ban was in effect in certain cities.
