Tent camp against housing crisis holds Puerta del Sol in Madrid for more than two weeks
Protesters demanding affordable housing continue to occupy Madrid's central square despite fatigue and pressure from authorities. The government of the Community of Madrid intends to 'exhaust all legal mechanisms' to evict the camp after the High Court's refusal on 5 October. Protesters deny accusations against the camp and say they have not set a date for leaving.
