Blast at Belfast home: evacuation after suspected pipe bomb attack
Early on Friday morning, an explosive device thrown into a letterbox detonated at a house on Stanhope Street in north Belfast. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) cordoned off the area and evacuated residents. The mother of four children whose home was attacked believes it was a case of mistaken identity. No one was injured, and the cordon was later lifted.
