From 2027, sending citizens abroad for work will be fully transferred to private employment agencies
At a meeting on labor migration, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed that from 2027 the employment of Uzbek citizens abroad be handed over to reliable private agencies. The agency will receive 1.5 million soums for each person placed in a high-paying job. Over two years, the number of agencies tripled and the number of people placed through them grew fivefold, but the president acknowledged the existence of mistakes, corruption and deception of citizens.
