CedarDB unveils cloud version at TechCrunch Disrupt: one database for transactions and analytics
Munich-based startup CedarDB, founded by alumni of the Umbra research project at the Technical University of Munich, announced limited access to CedarDB Cloud at TechCrunch Disrupt. The company is betting on combining operational and analytical workloads and PostgreSQL compatibility — against the backdrop of a similar move by Databricks.
