Finland is preparing new restrictions on entry for Russians, including a ban for athletes
On 6 November, President Alexander Stubb and the government committee discussed additional measures against the entry of citizens of Russia. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo said the Foreign Ministry is preparing proposals within a tight timeframe, naming the denial of entry to professional athletes as one of the aims. The discussion coincided with major tournaments in Finland where Russians are expected to take part.
