A court in Mombasa delivered a guilty verdict in the 'Shakahola massacre' case: self-proclaimed preacher Paul Mackenzie and 28 defendants were found guilty of murdering 190 children and one adult. Sentencing on the remaining charges and the overall death toll — more than 400 — remain the subject of separate proceedings.
