Christiane Amanpour to Leave CNN After 43 Years
CNN's chief international anchor Christiane Amanpour announced she is leaving the network after 43 years. She will continue hosting a weekly show until June 2027, and the PBS program will end in December. The departure was announced weeks after CNN came under the control of Paramount Skydance, which observers say raised questions about the newsroom's independence.
