'Pancake Index' in Russia Grew by 6% Over the Year
Making pancakes for a family of four in October 2026 cost an average of 82 rubles — 6% more expensive than a year earlier. The main contribution to the price increase came from kefir, flour, eggs and vegetable oil. Ready-made pancakes in cafes, as well as baking mixes, have also become more expensive.
