Vanuatu says police cooperation with China 'will taper off over time' after agreement with Australia
After signing the Nakamal Agreement with Australia, Vanuatu confirmed that Canberra remains its primary policing partner, while the arrangement with China is time-bound and is expected to taper off. The statement was made at the first meeting of the Nakamal committee in Canberra on 15 October.
