Tesla Begins Optimus Robot Production in Fremont Amid 43% Profit Drop
Tesla has launched production of Optimus humanoid robots at its Fremont, California plant. The company announced this in its third-quarter shareholder letter. At the same time, Tesla's net profit fell 43% to $787 million due to rising spending on AI, Optimus, and autonomous driving amid stagnant revenue.
