Zakharova called the idea of leaving refusals to treat Russian-speaking patients to doctors' discretion rock bottom
Official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on remarks by Ukraine's language ombudswoman Olena Ivasivska, who called medics' refusal to serve Russian-speaking patients a matter of morality. In her view, switching to Russian is possible only by mutual consent of the doctor and the patient.
