Lukashenko called the October Revolution the foundation of Belarusian statehood
In a congratulation on the Day of the October Revolution, the President of Belarus stated that the right of nations to self-determination proclaimed by the Soviet government became the foundation on which the country was built. November 7 remains a state holiday and a day off in the republic.
