Three people killed as two helicopters collide in mid-air near an Oregon airport
On Thursday afternoon, a Robinson R22 and an Airbus helicopter collided in mid-air near McMinnville Airport in Oregon. Both aircraft fell into a field next to a highway, killing three people, including an instructor from Texas and a cadet from the United Kingdom. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined; the FAA and NTSB are investigating.
