Armenian Community of Diyarbakir Backs Turkey-Armenia Normalization
Hovhannes Gafur Hovhanyan, deputy head of the Surp Giragos Armenian church foundation in Diyarbakir, positively assessed the normalization process between Ankara and Yerevan in an interview with Anadolu. His remarks came during a visit by Turkish and Armenian journalists funded by the EU. He also spoke about the community's life and the restoration of the Surp Giragos and Surp Sarkis churches.
