Gang of people smugglers sentenced to 84 years for trafficking migrants from the UK to France
A London-based gang of 21 people charged migrants $1,800 each for smuggling from the UK to France in lorries. The National Crime Agency intercepted 10 runs and detained 196 migrants; the organisers and drivers received a combined total of more than 84 years of imprisonment.
