In Moscow, parking will be free on November 4 — except for parking lots with barriers

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the cancellation of parking fees on November 4, National Unity Day. Cars can be left for free even in zones with rates of 380, 450 and 600 rubles per hour, but parking lots with barriers will continue to operate at regular rates.

Students at Russian schools on the quarter system have begun their autumn holidays. The Ministry of Education recommended holding them from October 26 to November 3, and November 4 will add one more day off due to National Unity Day.
