German climber rescued at 2,600 meters in Austria after a 14-hour operation
Three Germans set out on the Königsjodler route on the Hochkönig massif despite the weather forecast and a warning. One became exhausted and called rescuers, while his companions continued the ascent. Rescuers reached him on foot, as a helicopter was unable to fly.
