Death toll from ADF militant attack in eastern DR Congo rises to 33
Armed men, believed to be from the Allied Democratic Forces group, attacked several villages overnight in the Beni territory of North Kivu province. Thirty-three people were killed, about 60 houses and shops were burned, residents fled to neighboring settlements, and the army launched a pursuit of the attackers.
