On the second day of his visit to Uruguay, Pope Leo XIV addressed 70,000 people at the Centenario stadium in Montevideo, urged young people toward genuine human connection and family life, discussed the responsible use of AI at the Catholic University of Uruguay, and visited the poor neighborhood of Casavalle. In Paysandú, 40,000 faithful gathered for an open-air Mass.
