NASA crew preparing for a Mars mission emerges from 378-day isolation
Four participants of NASA's simulated Mars mission left the isolated module after 378 days in isolation. Since October 19, 2025, they communicated with mission control with delays as in a real flight to Mars, grew crops in soil simulating Martian soil, and kept the module operational. Next up is a two-week evaluation of the results together with the agency's scientists.
