Minimum subsistence level for pensioners may rise to 17.4 thousand rubles in 2027
Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University, estimated the pensioner minimum subsistence level for 2027 at 17,395 rubles — 6.8% higher than in 2026. The increase matters for non-working pensioners receiving the social supplement. Valery Ryazansky noted that indexation mostly compensates for inflation.
