Slovakia explained the resumption of the exchange of military attaches with Russia
Deputy Speaker of the Slovak parliament Tibor Gaspar told TASS that the resumption of the exchange of military attaches between Bratislava and Moscow is a practical step to prevent escalation. He emphasized the importance of maintaining channels of communication and a sovereign foreign policy while honoring EU membership obligations. On October 25, Gaspar confirmed the visit of a Slovak delegation to Moscow; earlier, Prime Minister Fico announced talks with Russia and Ukraine in November.
