Micron Workers in Taichung...
Part of the workforce at Micron's plant in Taichung (Taiwan) announced a one-day strike after negotiations on the distribution of company profits failed. The union demanded a one-time payment equal to 83 monthly salaries and a permanent system of quarterly distribution of 15% of operating profit. Meanwhile, Micron and the union of the larger plant in Taichung signed an agreement that drew criticism from Taichung workers.
