Egypt national football team coach banned from media appearances amid family scandal
On November 4, Egypt's Supreme Council for Media Regulation banned Hossam Hassan, head coach of the national football team, from appearing in local media. The decision is linked to a scandal surrounding his personal life, while the ban does not apply to press conferences about the national team's performances. Hassan keeps his post: in September his contract was extended until 2030.
