MEP names conditions for Ukraine's EU membership: end of the war and fight against corruption
Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, chair of the European Parliament's defense committee, said that for Ukraine to join the European Union, the conflict with Russia must end and internal problems, including corruption, must be resolved. She declined to name a specific accession date, as did European Commissioner Marta Kos earlier.
