Scotland Yard detective raped by colleague David Carrick demands resignation of Metropolitan Police chief
Detective Lorna Williams, raped in 2004 by officer David Carrick, told the BBC that the civil claim against the Metropolitan Police, in which lawyers challenged the severity of her PTSD, felt 'like being raped all over again'. She received compensation without an admission of liability and, in a first for a serving officer, publicly demands the resignation of Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley.
