On the fourth day of the second Test at St George's Park, Marco Jansen (5/33) and Kagiso Rabada put South Africa on the verge of a victory that would level the series. Australia, forced to follow on for the first time since 2019 after making 99 in the first innings, reached 156/4 by the end of the day and trailed by 170 runs.
