Imarat Development founder Marat Khamdamov detained in a criminal fraud case
On November 2, 2026, entrepreneur Marat Khamdamov was detained under Article 227 of the Criminal Procedure Code in a case opened on November 1 against the management of Imarat Development under Articles 168 and 192-11 of the Criminal Code. The basis was complaints from buyers who were promised housing in Tashkent, while the buildings are being constructed in the Kuyichirchik district of the region.
