Re:Build, a Massachusetts-based manufacturing accelerator that spun out the EV startup Slate Auto in 2023, has raised $2.1 billion led by General Catalyst and JPMorganChase's Strategic Investment Group. The funds will go toward expanding production of hard tech and launching new industrial startups.
Bekzod NazarovDanish jewellery company Pandora has opened a plant in Ho Chi Minh City that it calls the world's largest production complex for jewellery made of precious metals. The investment amounted to $150 million, capacity is up to 60 million items per year, and employment is 7,000 people. The plant will be Pandora's first production facility outside Thailand.
