US imposes sanctions on two individuals and companies over MANPADS supplies to Iran
On November 5, the US State Department announced sanctions against the general director of the Belarusian intermediary Armoury Alliance, a resident of Russia, and the Nigerian Vanguard Tactical Supply. They are accused of helping Iran acquire man-portable air-defense systems, including an attempt to purchase hundreds of MANPADS of Chinese origin.
