The Palestinian research center Madar reported that Rabbi Dov Lior on October 16 issued a religious ruling declaring the seizure of Palestinian olives in the West Bank 'permissible and even virtuous.' The report also documented hundreds of attacks on farmers during the harvest season, restrictions on access to land, and attacks on foreign observers.
