French high school students resume lycée blockades after the holidays
On Monday, 2 November 2026, French schoolchildren blockaded a number of lycées again after the autumn holidays, despite government concessions. According to the education ministry, 1% of the 3,700 lycées were blockaded. The authorities insist on a return to classes because of exams.
