Italy uncovers scheme with €24 million in winnings: lottery employees knew winning tickets in advance
Rome's financial police suspect five former employees of the lottery operator of using their work access to identify winning tickets before sale and sending relatives to buy them. Assets worth more than €25 million have been seized.
