Cristiano Ronaldo named winner of the all-time 'Ballon d'Or' in a fan vote
Cristiano Ronaldo has won a special poll by France Football magazine dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Ballon d'Or. In a paid fan vote, his best season of all time was named 2008, when the Portuguese played for Manchester United. Second and third places also went to awards of Ronaldo and Messi, and the entire top 12 of the ranking consists solely of these two players. The organizers noted that the result is symbolic and does not add an official award to the footballer's statistics.
