German student organizations and the Left support mass protests on October 31
The Federal Student Conference and the Left party have supported the October 31 protests in German cities demanding increased education funding. The GenZ movements are also demanding climate measures and the abolition of compulsory military service. The authorities of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria announced their readiness for violence and 'protest tourism'.
