Ministry of Transport proposed extending the special regime for operating foreign aircraft by two years
Russia's Ministry of Transport has prepared a draft resolution extending by two years the special regime for operating foreign aircraft and engines taken on lease. This will allow airlines to insure, service and repair aircraft under Russian rules. At the same time, a fee on air ticket purchases from 2027 is being discussed, which the State Duma has opposed.
