KVN turns 65: from a student quiz to a TV humor talent factory
On November 8, 1961, the program “The Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful” first aired on Soviet television. Over 65 years, KVN survived its closure in 1971, its revival in 1986, and became a launching pad for dozens of famous performers — from Mikhail Galustyan to Olga Kartunkova.
