Kosachev considers Maduro's release unlikely under the Trump administration
Federation Council Deputy Speaker Konstantin Kosachev said in an interview with TASS that Nicolas Maduro is unlikely to leave an American prison while Donald Trump's administration remains in power in the United States. The senator also doubted that the court would take international-law arguments into account. The trial of Maduro and his wife is scheduled for June 1, 2027.
