Lamine Yamal wins the Kopa Trophy for the third year in a row — a first in the award's history
Barcelona's 19-year-old forward Lamine Yamal has been named the world's best young footballer for 2026, becoming a three-time winner of the Kopa Trophy. The ceremony took place on 26 October in London as part of the Ballon d'Or presentation. No one had previously won the prize more than once.
