Japarov ordered citizenship and passports to be issued to ethnic Kyrgyz within one day
Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov, at a meeting with residents of Batken, instructed responsible officials to resolve the problem of a woman who had long been unable to obtain citizenship, and stated that ethnic Kyrgyz should be granted citizenship and a passport within one day.
