China's oldest flightless bird found, with teeth and a predatory dinosaur's claw
Paleontologists have described a new species of ancient bird from Fujian province that lived 150–148 million years ago. It had serrated teeth and a sickle-shaped claw like predatory dinosaurs, but short forelimbs indicate a ground-dwelling lifestyle. The work is published in Nature.
