Financing the new Yangi Tashkent airport: Uzbekistan proposed involving the Japanese bank JBIC
Talks were held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan with JBIC's energy project finance department. The discussions covered attracting Japanese investment, the entry of MUFG, SMBC and Mizuho into the Uzbek market, a special economic zone, and the infrastructure of New Tashkent.
