Kun.uz's «5 daqiqa» examines Abdurauf Fitrat's novella «The Tale of an Indian Traveller»
An essay published in Istanbul in 1912 describes Bukhara through the eyes of an «Indian traveller» — in fact Fitrat himself. The piece examines the three estates described in the work, the episode of a poor family selling its land to pay a bribe, and a conversation with a craftsman in Karshi about competition with European factories.
