In Samarkand region, damage from cybercrimes exceeded 49 billion soums in the first nine months of 2026
According to the regional internal affairs department, the number of crimes involving information technologies in Samarkand region in January–September 2026 grew by 42% compared with the same period last year. Most cases involve theft of funds from citizens' bank cards.
