In Uzbekistan, requirements for new residential projects: schools, kindergartens and green zones are mandatory
The Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning stated that new residential projects must include green zones, playgrounds and parking, and dense development on plots of up to one hectare should be abandoned. Projects will be assessed by three criteria: compliance with the general plan, at least 30% greenery, and building height matching infrastructure capacity.
