'We will enroll you in the 3rd year without exams': Ministry of Education warns of admission fraud
The Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan urged citizens not to trust promises of enrollment in a university or transfer to another year without exams. The reason was the detention in Namangan region of a person demanding 18 million soums for enrollment in the 3rd year of a private university. The ministry recalled the official rules for transfer and student registration in HEMIS.
